We are delighted to be working with Birmingham based artist Joanne Masding at St Edeyrn's Village on behalf of Persimmon Homes. 

Joanne is currently focussed on resident events and workshops, exploring how a new development can begin to gather together the layers of meaning that lead to the construction of a village, of a community. This programme of activity is exploring such questions as how communities arrange themselves and work together; how histories are written and by who; how we live together and what we leave behind for the future.

St Edeyrns Village is one of eight strategic sites for housing identified in Cardiff’s Local Development Plan (LDP). When all phases of the development are complete, it will deliver over 1,000 new homes with associated community uses and supporting infrastructure. The village will benefit from a new primary school, shops, allotments, a community orchard and a landscaped park running alongside the River Rhymney.
