Sculpture Dublin
External Assessment of Artists' Submissions

Launched in July 2020, Sculpture Dublin is a Dublin City Council initiative which aims to raise awareness of the city’s sculptural heritage and to commission new works in parks and public spaces city-wide.

During the process of commissioning six major new public sculptures, Sculpture Dublin invited Studio Response to support them by acting as external assessors to assist with the longlisting of artists’ applications according to the Selection Criteria published in the commission brief.  Following Studio Response’s input, Selection Panels were convened that made the final decision on the artist appointments.
