More than a Game
Artist Residency

Working in partnership with the FAW Trust and The Arts Council of Wales, Studio Response appointed documentary photographer Faye Chamberlain to undertake an artist residency with the FAW Trust, touring Wales to capture football’s relationship with communities across Wales.

The six-month residency project, titled ‘More than a Game’, culminated in an exhibition at the Dragon Park in Newport, the home of the National Football Development Centre for Wales.  Nick Capaldi, Chief Executive of the Arts Council of Wales said, "Sports and the arts alike bring real benefits to individuals and make significant and positive contributions to many aspects of our lives. We look forward to seeing some of the stories of the devotion and passion of football supporters and participants in community groups across Wales being captured on camera.”
